“In Beauty is the splendor of the True”:
If Truth we know, we will know Beauty too.
And if in Beauty we can see the Good,
Our spirit understands all that it should.

Words in our earthly language may be weak,
Yet Truth is strong; with Heaven’s Heart we speak
To show a path to living’s inmost duty.

“Allah is beautiful and He loves Beauty”:
There is a Splendor we can hear and see;
A mirror of the True we ought to be. (a poem by Fritjof Schuon)

One of beautiful teachings from Prophet Muhammad (pbuh) is to always tell the truth. Human being naturally does not like to be fooled. As human being, if we do not want to be fooled, we should never fool other people. In other words, never tell a lie, and always tell the truth. Once we tell a lie, nobody will trust us anymore. It is just so simple. However, in practice, being honest is not simple for some people and some reasons. Just imagine about politician in Indonesia. How many of them are honest? This is still a big question for me… 🙂

Just forget the politician. The most important thing for me is that I always try to purify myself and be trustful on my intention, speech and action. May Allah always shows me to the right path…
